LONDON – The World Football Federation (FIFA) has announced the winners of the 2018 FIFA award which took place at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank London, Monday (09/25/2018) night. The award held every year is an appreciation given by FIFA to professional soccer activists from around the world.

In the award event, FIFA also released 11 names of players who entered the best starting XI aka FIFA FIFPro World XI in 2018. Uniquely on the list, there was no name Mohamed Salah in it. Though he is a candidate to win the Best FIFA 2018 award.

Not only that, another surprise was also created, Thibaut Courtous, who was chosen as FIFA's best goalkeeper, was also not included in the list of FIFA's best freedom. His position was replaced by Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
