THESSALONIKI – Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri finally revealed the reason why he did not bring some of his team's star players in the inaugural Europa League Group L match 2018-2019, which was against PAOK FC on Thursday (09/20/2018) night WIB. According to the statement, Sarri did not bring a number of players because he wanted to rest his students.
As is known, there are several names of Chelsea's mainstay players that Sarri did not bring to Greece to face PAOK. The names are Eden Hazard, Mateo Kovacic, and David Luis. Sarri's decision was suddenly a discussion of many parties.

Because the decision of the Italian passport coach was considered quite surprising because he did not call Hazard who in the last few games was playing very well. Likewise for Kovacic and Luiz.
However, Sarri felt the decision to rest some of his mainstay players was right. He believes that the three players need enough rest to continue playing in the remainder of the 2018-2019 season.
"David Luis almost rarely played in the past six months, so I think it's good if he gets a break. "Even so Kovacic, he better get a break after suffering a minor injury," said Sarri, quoting from Metro, Thursday (09/20/2018).
"Hazard after defending the Belgium National Team (national team) and the match against Cardiff City seemed a bit experiencing fatigue. So, in my opinion it's better that he also get a break and practice, "concluded the former Napoli coach.
